The National Certificate III in Fitness Instructor course prepare you for the job as a Fitness Instructor. This course also qualify you to work as a Personal Trainer.
The course will cover 120 hours of sports science covering exercise physiology, movement sciences, and anatomy. Body composition, weight loss and the role of a exercise and healthy eating is addressed. Fitness testing and progressive overload techniques are features of the Certificate III course. Classroom learning is enhanced by active participation of the student in executing exercise moves. A minimum of 60 hours internship on the gym floor is a requirement.
The objective of the course is to prepare the Trainer to immediately start work as a Fitness Instructor.
